Liyang Yang

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Texas A&M University. Previously, I was a Sherman Fairchild Postdoctoral Scholar Teaching Fellow at Caltech and an Instructor and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. I received my PhD from Caltech in 2021 under the supervision of Dinakar Ramakrishnan.

Research Interest

My research interests primarily revolve around:

• Analytic and algebraic number theory
• Automorphic forms and L-functions
• Harmonic analysis, (relative) trace formulas, and spectral reciprocity
• Representation of Lie and p-adic groups
